Institute Programs
In the service of its mission, the Institute provides:
- Education programs for K-12 and college students and faculty
- Training for those entering or already in the biotechnology work force and for entrepreneurs
- Public education
- Research of particular concern to Chicago, Illinois, and the region
iBIO Institute’s teacher professional development programs provide instruction on both fundamental and advanced laboratory techniques.
Other programs present critical insights for entrepreneurs on how to expand their network and build their business. The Institute strongly supports outreach that creates opportunities for minorities and other underserved groups.
Finding Your Future presentations and resource materials inform students, parents, teachers, and the public about myriad science careers. Presentations help guide career exploration. Career fairs connect qualified science and business graduates with numerous Midwest job opportunities.
